Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

The Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is located in Orlando, Florida which is a part of the Walt Disney World Resort. This fantastic resort area was started in April 16 2001. It has been built in order to preserve the African animals. This resort is located very much nearer to the world’s largest theme park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It has a unique feature by which the people who are staying in this resort can watch the animals grazing outside their residence and that too in very close proximity. The people here feel as if they have been to an African zoo. But the point here is the people are warned not to feed the animals that are present there and video capturing of the movements and the activities of animals is strictly prohibited.

On October 11 2006, this resort became the property of the Disney’s vacation club so that the people can buy a real estate from this resort. Completion of one hundred and forty five rooms was the first step that was taken by the management team of Disney Company. Later, they built around three hundred royal mansions which are located to the west of this resort. These mansions are now called as the Kidani Village. A new feature is provided for the club members that they can stay at a club level while they take a lodge in this resort. There is also a lounge built here with number of floors present that looks similar to the Grand Floridian Hotel. In addition to these, a very large water pool is being set up so that the residents can enjoy to the maximum. They are also planning for water slides and aquatic playground to be built here.
